Commex is part of the RAD Group, an Israeli-based family of independent companies that develop, manufacture and market solutions for diverse segments of the networking and telecommunications industry. Each company operates independently, without a holding company, but is guided by RAD Group founders under a collective strategic umbrella. Companies share technology, engage in joint marketing activities and benefit from a common management structure. In a relatively short period, RAD has grown into a group of 14 companies - including Commex Technologies - with aggregate sales of $720 million in 2006. Among the Group’s clients are: BMW, British Telecom, Phillips, Alcatel, AT&T, and hundreds of other leading companies in their fields.
The member companies of the RAD Group employ over 3,500 employees. Their products are marketed in over 100 countries around the world. Six of those companies are traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange: RADVISION, Ceragon Networks, Radware, RiT Technologies, RADCOM and Silicom. Seven of the companies that started under the umbrella of the Group merged or were acquired and most of these continue to operate in Israel under different names (Siemens, Avaya). |
