Erez Schwartz - CEO and President

Erez Schwartz is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Commex Technologies, where he sets the company's strategic direction and oversees the development, marketing and operations activities. Before joining Commex, Erez worked at DSPC from 1990 through 2008 which was acquired by Intel in 1999 and acquired by Marvell in 2006. Since 2004 he held the position of General Manager at DSPC and was in charge of the development of chipsets and full cellular platforms from research to production. Prior to that, he created and led the 3G (third generation) cellular product program where he was in charge from the onset of system and product definition and brought in revenues in excess of $500M. Earlier in his career, Erez held various design and system engineering positions in 2G cellular products.

Avraham Ganor - VP R&D

Avraham (Avi) Ganor leads the research and development activities for Commex Technologies, bringing a wide spectrum of talents and experience to the team. Before joining Commex, Avi managed all silicon development for Genoa Color Technologies. Before Genoa, Avi served as VLSI Design Manager and System Architect at Metalink Broadband Access. At Metalink he piloted a new solution providing complete integration of leased line delivery systems over symmetric DSL. Earlier in his career, Avi worked at Motorola Semiconductor Israel, where he was member of the well-known Power QUICC II Network Processor Management Team. He has published several papers and filed numerous patents for communications technology.

Ze'ev Rivlin - VP Marketing & Business Development

Ze'ev Rivlin leads the Commex Marketing Team, focusing on product marketing and strategy, competitive positioning, and customer engagement. Since 1999, he has led marketing and business development efforts at several startups. Before coming to Commex, Ze'ev drove business development efforts at Oplus Technologies (acquired by Intel Corporation) developing new markets for video processing SoCs.
Ze'ev possesses expertise in the field of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). He engaged in research in the field from 1990 to 1998 at AT&T Bell Labs and SRI International. His work in various capacities involved deriving new strategic applications for ASR in the market and developing computationally efficient implementations of ASR. Ze'ev holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Temple University and a master's in electrical engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
